FeedCacheTTLHours & FeedCacheLastModifiedTimeTtlDeltaHours RRS feed

  • Question

  • According to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219560(v=office.15).aspx , FeedCacheTTLHours & FeedCacheLastModifiedTimeTtlDeltaHours are 168 hours (7 days) by default. Our users need to keep 14 days of feeds at Mysite. Hence we are considering increase FeedCacheTTLhours to 14 days.

    My question is, do I need to increase FeedCacheLastModifiedTimeTtlDeltaHours to 14 days as well?

  • Hi Mark,

    I think it based on your case how long you will need to keep it so you can increase it or no

  • Let's say I setup like this:

    FeedCacheTTLhours = 14 days
    FeedCacheLastModifiedTimeTtlDeltaHours = 7 days

    Is it means a feed posted 30 days ago and being replied within 7 days, the post still in cache and show up in Mysite consolidated page?
