  • Can I add a NAS device, such as a Buffalo Linkstation to the storage pool on DPM 2010?

  • Hi,

    No, the disks in the DPM storage pool must be block level devices and be seen as fixed disks in Windows disk management.  The disks can be direct attached IDE, SAS, or SCSI drives, or remote Iscsi or Fiber attached SAN disks.
