The Simulator for Management Pack in visual studio 2010 can't run RRS feed

  • I'm developing system center operation manager management pack now.I want to debug management pack use simulator in visual studio 2010.When I click button "Start Simulator", it prompt a window tell me that the workflow sumulator needs the System Center Operation Manager 2012 agent installed.But I have alreay installed SCOM 2012 agent, and restarted computer after installed it.What's the problem,thanks!

  • the scom 2012 agent needs to be on the local machine that your running visual studio on. Is the healthservice running or stopped? is it running as localsystem account on your machine that Visual Studio 2010 is on?

  • Thanks for your help.The Opearion System on which I use Visual Studio, I think, is the reason.The Opearion System I used former is Windows 7, I try it on Windows Server 2012 and it is right now.But there is few Windows 2012 server for our env and it is installed with SCOM 2012.I want more collegues develope at this same time,So,it is better that Simulator can be run on Windows 7.Is there any method to do it? Many thanks!
