Project pro 2010 is not supported with Project server 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • What I understand from TechNet article that Project pro 2010 is not supported with Project server 2013 ( and same with project online).

If my customer has some 50 Project Pro 2010 licenses  , will there be any benefit / option to convert them into Project pro 2013 licenses or he has to just purchase the new Project pro 2013 licenses / Online subscription

  • This is more of a licensing question, and your customer will have to talk to the Microsoft Representative about this. Based on what I know, if your customer had purchased Software Assurance, they should be able to "upgrade" with less cost than having to purchase brand new licenses.

However, these arrangements are different for each client.
