VPN connection not working; error 720 RRS feed

  • So with COVID-19 and all I'm working from home and for the last month everything has been fine.  As of yesterday however I can no longer get my VPN and remote desktop connection to my work computer to function.  I went through some trouble shooting with our tech support but he's got no ideas; guy had "never seen this error message before". He was able to log in with my credentials from his office but has no suggestions for me. 

    I get the message "The connection to the remote computer could not be established. You might need to change the network settings for this connection" 

    I've tried updating windows, removing and resetting up the VPN information and still the same message.  I checked the event log and and it said "The user ****(redacted)**** dialed a connection named HEP VPN which has failed. The error code returned on failure is 720."

    The only reference to this error I can find references dial up connections and in some places also VPN. The following mentions dial up:
