Adding a secondary addressbook entry (nickname, alias)

Question

( exchange 2010 sp1 on win2k8 r2 )
Hi,
we're about to migrate towards Exchange and now I'm trying to add secondary nicknames/aliases to existing exchange users. Simply adding a secondary mail adress won't work, since those don't appear in address books. Contacts are ruled-out, too - since only one contact per mail adress is allowed.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Peter

Ok, I found a solution. I guess I will create single-member distribution lists per additional address I need.
Thanks for your help guys,
Peter

Perhapsyou're not downloading all the details in the Offline Address Book?---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Rich,
let me reexplain what I want to suceed in: I want person A to be listed in the addressbook with a secondary name. I know that I can add another email address but people don't want to write to email addresses they simply want to type names / resolve them from the address book.

Sure one can "see" them in the address book, but they won't be autocompleted when I click on "Check Names". ONLY when one addresses them with the complete SMTP address.
Isn't there another way to have additional entries for existing accounts show up in the address book?
Regards,
Peter
