  • Haven't seen that one, but maybe install a free PDF writer like CutePDF....?
What version of Windows are you using?

  • I believe I am having this issue.  If I have the offline printer set as default, then group my project by complete/incomplete, then filter by date range, when I go to print it crashes every time.  I just switched the Windows default printer to a pdf writer, and I can now print preview without a crash.  I am running Project 2010 Standard SP1.  Here is the crash log from the windows event viewer:

  • It sounds like your printer driver is at fault.  Check for the latest driver for your printer, and also that SP1 has been installed. What version of Project are you using? If that doesn't work, can you try a different printer, and/or a different PC?

  • We just had a user that was getting crash whenever he would do a print preview when doing a custom group with two layers.  I verified the problem.  I also verified that changing the printer to the PDF writer successfully allows a print preview.

    Chris
