i have a new computor with a Gigabiteb GA-H55M-S2H motherboard and an i3 processor running windows 7. All works fine for a while then all the USB devices stop working including mouse and keyboard. I get a message saying a usb device has stopped working. If I rest the PC all is fine. Time between failure seem to be random. I have updated the Intel drivers as that has been a proposed solution. Any help would be apprecioated

Have you checked Gigabyte support for a newer BIOS version? Did you use Gigabyte's install disk or the drivers and updates from the support site.

You can check the Event Viewer for a clue to the culprit under the Critical or Errors category. Find anything?

Hi,

Most of the time this is related to drivers and firmware.

Use http://www.ma-config.com/ to Identify the hardware and software components of your computer and you will get a list of up to date driver. Use them.

Go to your motherboard website and check for fimrware update.
