none
Non exchange users can't be found in the address book and vice versa RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have two groups of users who use Lync 2010

Group A, who has both an exchange account and a Lync account

Group B, who only has a Lync account

Group A, can find anyone in Group A, but not in Group B, they have to enter in the full email address of that user

Group B cannot find anyone, and have to enter in the full email address of any user

Without giving Group B exchange accounts, where can i even start to troubleshoot this, or perhaps generate a work-around?

  • Hi MikeLeger,

If you integrate SFB with exchange ,your contact will store in the exchange ,You could roll back the contact from exchange to Lync server ,you could refer to this link ,then make a test.

    Best Regards,

  • Users are separated by AD groups, but both in AD

SIP address is same as SMTP address

This is Lync2010 not "Skype for Business"
