KB2615701 appears to break App-V 5.0 SP2 agent

Question
-
While it doesn't seem to impact all of our App-V packaged apps, there are some that fail to launch and either hang with the exe showing in task manager or launch and show different errors.
For example Excel 2010 x64 hangs on the "Starting..." splash screen.
After removing the KB2615701 hotfix from the system they work as normal.
Mainly posting as an FYI to help anyone else having simular issues.

Have you logged this issue with Microsoft? If the cause is the hotfix, then it's likely you won't need to pay for support - you should be able to confirm this if you call PSS.

Please raise this issue with support. I cannot repro this issue. We would need to determine if it is App-v broken, or if something else is broken affecting App-V.
