Response Group - send calls directly to voicemail RRS feed

  • I am trying to create an after hours response group that will for example state to leave a message for the accounting department press 1... I need the call to go directly to a voice mail box.  I do not see that as an option within Lync.

  • This is controlled in Create or Edit Workflow” in CP. Look the section “Specify Your Business Hours”. Here you set the time frame this workflow will process calls as described later in the section “Configure Interactive Voice Response”. So, still under “Specify Your Business Hours”, in the section “Outside of business hours, process call as follows (after the message has played, if you have configured one)”, toggle “Forward to voice mail” and enter sip-uri and the desired voice mailbox. If you want every call to go to voicemail every time (wander who would want that), simply uncheck all days under “To edit or add hours of operation, type in your opening and closing times”. Drago
