Windows 10 cannot work properly with Seagate Sdrive RRS feed

  • Hi There,

    I've a seagate nas pro 6 for small business. Nas has a remote access aplication calles seagate sdrive. In office we've 2 win8.1 machine and sdrive works properly. When we use win10 devices (at least 6 pc) we have some issues. 

    Main issue is: win10 works properly when we dont log in sdrive. when we logged in windows explorer can't work properly and we have refresh issues (when we have copy-paste/cut-paste, or deleted files process cannot seen. when we refresh folder the process sawn). If we log out from sdrive issue is continuing. We must restart win 10.

    Hello, 

    Try resetting File Explorer (explorer.exe) process: 

    1. Press Windows Key + R and type SYSDM.CPL in Run. Click OK or press Enter key. 

    2. In System Properties window, switch to Advanced tab, click Settings under Performance. 

    3. Next, in Performance Options, under Processor scheduling, make sure that Adjust for best performance of: is set to Programs. 

    4. Then in the same window, under Virtual memory, click Settings button. 

    5. On Virtual Memory page, make sure Automatically manage paging file sizes for all drives option is checked. Click OK, then Apply, OK on rest of windows. 

    6. Reboot the machine and see if issue is resolved now.

  • Hi again,

    I tried the solution but i didn't work. Normal times win10 work normally when logged in sdrive explorer.exe dont work properly. I asked seagate support they can not aswer for the solution.
