  • Hi,

    I am trying to download the latest updates for ConfigMgr 2015. I am getting an error. This seems to relate to Silverlight?

  • I was able to upgrade last Sunday (12/13) and D/L the Prereqs, the exe that is trying to download is "Silverlight.exe" product version 5.5.0031.0, file version 5.1.40728.0, maybe if you get it directly and place it there you can get around the issue? Let me know, I can zip it and share it on OneDrive if you can't D/L directly...

    <Edit>

    Link in case anyone wants to try and place the D/L there and see if 1511 Setup goes around;

  • Same problem here. If I manually go to the link it's not working either.

  • Awesome that worked. I tried getting it from other sources and couldn't. Not sure why MS has this link broken.

  • I too received this error and found that the link was being blocked by our Proxy Security server.  For some reason many of they major security vendors have that link flagged as malicious and are blocking it.  I routed around the perimeter security from an outside device and was able to download from this link just fine.  Manually copied the file into the Prereq folder and it then continued on without issue.  Check with your Security team to see if you get the same web block I did.
