Dual Boot with previously operating installs on two hard drives. RRS feed

Dual boot works fine here at school.  (XP Pro and Vista Enterprise).

I'm trying to save some time at home.  I'm running XP Pro for my wife's workplace software compatability.  I need to get up to speed on Vista as we will be switching over soon at school.  Before I remembered dual boot I bought a second hard drive and put Vista Ultimate on it.  I then plug the desired operating system into Sata 0 on the Motherboard and learn away.

Since I have each operating system working individually, is their a way to plug both hard drives in and convert to dual boot by modifing a boot file, or am I getting myself into trouble!

I realize I could reinstall Vista but a shortcut would be handy.

    Thanks for any help available.
