  • Hi All,

I want to inject a inf style driver.

I tried to inject through Out of Box driver after importing it, but it didn't install for some reason. Also I didn't get any error on logs. When I used Dism /Add-Driver after manually mount the image, it installed fine.

Can someone tell me how to include it without doing this manual steps?

  • Can you be a bit more specific what you are trying to achieve? You may want to review MDT 2013 Lite Touch Driver Management post to gain insights into best practices for handling driver management in MDT.

  • Hi Anton,

To provide more details on this issue.

Actually I want to install a unsigned driver. I have imported the driver in Out-Of-Box driver container. After that I updated Deployment Share. Then I got the reference image which I installed on a physical machine but after deployment of the image I saw that the unsigned driver didn't get installed, I verified this by running "Dism /Online /Get-Driver" in command prompt.

So, every time I update the Deployment Share, and after deploying the reference image and then I have to capture the image (.wim) and then manually inject the driver using Dism /Add-Driver /forceunsigned command.

Can I do this task automatically by creating an entry in Task Sequence (adding a command line task, or something) or somewhere?
