Problem With Downloading Windows 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was in the process of installing Windows 10 which took 9 hours to download and 5 hours for preparing for install.  It started the upgrade configuring, upgrading Windows.  The PC restarted several times during the next 3 hours.  I thought it was done.  My computer then displayed my name, my email address and asked for my password.  I assumed this was my password to access my computer and entered it.  When I entered my password, the wheel started spinning and has been spinning for four and half hours at this point.  Is this normal or is there something wrong?

  • Hi,

Sometimes, it might need some more time to finish the configuration.

If you have already login successfully, ignore the upgrade time.

If you haven't login Windows, force shutdown and restart the computer to check the situation.

If it roll back to previous version of Windows, you could try to upgrade via the ISO file:

    Download Windows 10

  •   What sort of system are you running this on? Those times sound crazy to me.
