Lync Server 2013 Management Pack - Not discovering Standard Front End Servers... RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm very new to SCOM. Yesterday I applied the Lync Server 2013 Management Pack 5.0.8308.0 to monitor our 2 standard front end lync servers. I can see the Lync Server 2013 Management Pack .xml's locally upon the two Lync servers concerned but within the SCOM admin console > monitoring > Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Health > Servers - the servers are not being displayed. All dependent management packs are also present.

    Any ideas guys?

  • I'm guessing you were refering to having the lync servers "act as a proxy and discover managed objects on other computers" (page 47) as this is what resolved my issue - if so, many thanks. If not, thanks for pointing me in the direction of the guide.

  • Hi,

Did you read "Lync Server 2013 Management Pack Guide.doc" (page 11 & 12) before import?
