  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

I have just sequenced Office 2010 with APPV and SCCM, i have deleted on the registry key in APPV the Userinfo for Office

    With an administrator account

The username and initials are asked one time, after a second lauch no Username is asked (Normally)

    With an standard account :

The username and initials are asked each time when the product is launched

I suppose this a right problem but where changed to solved the problem ?

  • Hello everyone,

    Thanks for your help

I have solved the problem ;)

The resolution is to reinstall the client APPV with the correct Userdata path (%APPDATA%), i have a silent package but it's seem to be doesn't works with the line parameter.

If it's leave by default the setting's for APPV is set to the account are used to install the client and with a standard account it's not to be able to access to the administrator account.

    Thanks you

  • How are you approaching user profiles? Are you redirecting any folders?

  • Hello,

Is there any difference with how you handle admins and users? You could probably use Process Monitor to determine what happens when the application tries to write those keys
