Unable to Restore GPO Backup in GPMC Made Using SCM3.0 Beta RRS feed

    Hi,

    I am using MS Security and Compliance Manager Beta (3.0.10.0).

    I have created a Windows Server 2012 Baseline that appears under Custom Baselines -> Windows Server 2012 and carried out a GPO Backup.

    When trying to restore the backup on a Windows 2012 Domain Controller using GPMC it fails with the message The Parameter Is Incorrect.

    I am able to backup a GPO via GPMC and import it into SCM 3.0 without error

    Any idea please?

    Nigel;

    You are using the wrong procedure in GPMC, instead of 'restore' use 'import.' If you continue to have problems let us know.
