Find out who read an email sent to a distribution list RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I sent an email to a distribution group and I did not request receipt, is there a way to find out who read the email and who didn't? (whether it be through shell or EMC).

  • Someone who knows more can go ahead and contradict me but, short of going the computer forensics route, I think the most most granular level you can attain is when a user accessed their mailbox last - not particualr messages. That's on the Exchange side. Of course, on the client side, you can see if a mail was opened by the different icon. But even then... open does not mean read and does not mean pay attention or understand :)
