Office 2016 (365) Outlook Issue RRS feed

  • I upgraded to Office 2016 (365) and shortly thereafter the sync with G mail stopped  working.  I can send emails from Outlook but the incoming are not displayed in the Outlook Inbox.  My wife's account is working just fine.  I have the current version of Office 2016 (365) Outlook.  Is there a fix?  Thanks.

  • Hi,

    Did you get any error message in the "Outlook Send/Receive progress" dialog when we manually click the Send/Receive All Folders button?

    Please first try repairing your Gmail account in Outlook to see if it helps. To do this, go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings, highlight your Gmail account and click Repair button.

    If above doesn't help, please also try recreate the send/receive settings file (.srs) to see the result. Close Outlook, find the srs-file from the following path and then rename it to .old. Then, restart Outlook to see the result.
