Word Viewer - Troubles at KB3128044 and KB3127962 / will be create new office viewers ? RRS feed

    Hi, can you help us to contact Microsoft to see the question in below at Community forum about word viewer at KB3128044 and KB3127962? Those update don't permit to many users see the word documents, only works if was uninstalled.

    Other question is about the lifecycle of Word Viewer 2003, at product page, inform that NOTE: The Microsoft Word Viewer is being retired in November, 2017. At that time, the Viewer will no longer be available for download and will no longer receive security updates

    My second question, Will be release a new package of Office Viewers?

    About Office Viewers (will be release any update version or new package at latest Office)?

    Microsoft still be awkward when take care of Office Viewers:
    Let's see why...

    The latest Excel Viewer was 2007 version;
    The latest Powerpoint Viewer was 2010 version;
    The latest Word Viewer was the 2003 + SP3 version;
    The latest Visio viewer was the 2010 version;
    And last, but not least, the FileFormatConverters to see some layouts and compatibility formats.
    Please, if have a new member that have contact with Microsoft, it's sufficient time to release a new package with compatibility in line of latest office version.

    This is a known issue caused due to KB3127962, and it has been fixed by the KB3141490 update released on January 3 2017.

    Please try to install this update and check the result:

    Tested the update and it seems fine.

    But let me know why the office viewers doesn't have homogeneous version (2003, 2007, 2010+Fileformatsconverts, and the 32 bits question).

    Microsoft will release a new office viewers package with compatibility and inline of latest office version ?
