Project Online tenant - Can we transfer instances of a tenant to another instance RRS feed

  • Question

  • Firstly, I do believe I have seen and heard that we can create upto 3 instances of Project Online with a single tenant.  Is this correct?

I was hoping to create one for testing before deploying stuff to production instance.  Question, are there tools or a way to transfer configuration from let say our test instance to production instance?  If so, where do I get more info on that?

    Thanks for your attention.

  • Hi Spiro,

First of all, since last week, Project Online has been scaled up to 7 instances instead of 3. See reference here.

Then for a migrator tool, I'm not pretty sure but I remember that Fluent Pro proposes a Project Online migrator tool.

    Hope this helps,

  • Hello, as Guillaume already said you will be able to have 7 PWA instances for Project Online in the same tenant. Also Fluent Pro do have a tool to migrate and maintain configuration between PWA instances but there is also an app from Nearbaseline that will do some of the config, see this link https://store.office.com/config-tool-WA104165158.aspx Paul
