Messages sent from a shared mailbox aren't saved to the Sent Items folder of the shared mailbox in Outlook RRS feed

  • Im currently running O365/outlook 2013 with windows 8.1. We are not a exchange environment. Here is my problem, I have two mailboxes on outlook the main mailbox and a shared mailbox. When sending emails from a shared mailbox sent items are being placed in the main account sent items not the shared mailbox sent items . I understand the fact that I'm sending from the main mailbox and not the shared. From what I have gathered all outlook does is change the form when sending email from a shared mailbox.  I have tried the registry fix on two separate machines win 7 and 8.1 with no success.  This is a huge problem in a corporate environment where sales assistants are send emails for sales reps via shared mailbox. Its crucial that emails are place in the corresponding mailboxes sent items folder.  There is no way to determinant who sent the email because it all funnels into main mailbox sent items.

  • Hi,

    Please make sure that Outlook is configured in Cached Exchange Mode.

    Also make sure the Office version (x.0) is configured properly, it should be 15.0 for Outlook 2013.
