Can you deploy an application sequenced with App-V v5 with SCCM 2007?

Question

We are currently in the process of upgrading to SCCM 2012. We are also embarking on testing App-V v5. Can we deploy sequenced applications from App-V v5 using SCCM 2007? What limitations will exist with SCCM 2007? What release of SCCM 2007 should we be at for App-V v5 sequenced applications to be deployed and/or streamed?Tuesday, November 20, 2012 2:44 PM

You have two choices:
- Deploy via the MSI created by the Sequencer
- Create custom PowerShell scripts to add and publish packages on the clients

I know this is a relatively old thread, but just to expand on the 'Create custom PowerShell scripts to add and publish packages on the clients', I created one here:
http://www.alkanesolutions.co.uk/2013/12/17/publishing-app-v-5-packages-sccm-2007/
It may not fit your needs out of the box, but there's a fair bit of useful functionality in there. Feel free to grab a copy and chop around with it (and report any bugs!).
