  • The requirements are listed here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff369719.aspx but they are more software than hardware related.

  • I concur with Torsten, personnaly I've not seen the hardware requirement for the Dashboard, but if you need to installed on a separate server, you have to calculate the hardware requirement for Windows, WSS and SQL Server.

    Hope it helps.

  • Then I would prefer that server as dashboard one if everything else (free resources, Prerequisites) is fine with that server.

  • Thanks for the link Torsten.

I am not able to get a listing of the hardware requirement anywhere. But as Bechir suggested, I could calculate them.

Just to add further to my query, the hardware requirement of the dashboard is required to ascertain that if the dashboard is installed on the central site server, the load would not affect the performance if it would be accessed by 100 -500 people, between any interval of time.

100-500 users .....If that is the case I would suggest a dedicated server (or someother server) rather than using central server.

Are you using SSRS? If so, where is it installed?
