attachments changed to Message.TXT

I have a single user who has been updated to Outlook 2010 and is having attachments stripped upon arrival into the outlook client. if the user checks the webmail first, the attachments look OK but upon arrival into the Outlook desktop, the attachments are now converted to the dreaded message.txt. Again only one user has this issue. it was an issue before and after upgrading to Office 2010.

Sure could use some help with this.

Sounds like he has an outlook plug in. Try disabling his plug in by closing outlook and starting outlook in safe mode outlook /safe then have send another test attachment.

Hi,

Please try James's suggestion firstly.

Afterwards you can recreate a new profile, reinstall Office 2010 or open Outlook on the other machine for try.
