  • As mentioned by Ethan, just create a .reg file includes:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
    "Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,00,00,2a,e0,00,00,37,e0,\
    00,00,54,00,00,00,00,00

Here is a article exactly about this purpose:

  • Hi,

We don't have any built-in Group Policy setting for this purpose. However, we can control/disable this by editing below registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout\Scancode Map

Just create a .reg file containing:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
    "Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,00,00,2a,e0,00,00,37,e0,\
    00,00,54,00,00,00,00,00

Then, deploy this .reg file via startup script.

Alternatively, we can apply the same registry key directly via Group Policy Preferences. For more information about how to configure a registry key via GPP, please refer to this article:

    Hope this helps.
