  • My anywhere access wizard is also failing with the same CertificateNotTrusted error. Perhaps, there's a problem with the certificate issuer. Is it still Godaddy?

  • Setup another Essentials server on a different network and getting the same error. It must be an issue with the domain name provider.

  • Hi,

Please make sure that system date and time are configured correctly.

If the problem persists, please provide error screenshot, and complete log files.

You can upload the file to OneDrive(https://onedrive.live.com/), share it and provide me the access link.

    Best Regards,
    Eve Wang

  • I am having this same issue.... Hopefully Microsoft can fix this bug soon...

  • Agreed... This is definitely a Microsoft (or GoDaddy) issue, and someone over on their end needs to step up and get the issued resolved for their paying customers. I sell Windows Server Essentials add-ins, and lots and lots of my customers are now reporting issues with setting up Microsoft personalized domain names via the Anywhere Access/Remote Web Access setup wizard in the Essentials Dashboard.

Eve Wang, please pass all of these support requests (of which there are lots posted here on these forums) on to someone higher up at Microsoft that can actually get us all some help with resolving this one.

  • Alright, I just tried it again it seems to be working now. So fellow anywhere access users try again! It looks like Microsoft or godaddy have fixed the Cert issue.
