    I have been receiving this error in the event viewer.

    I cannot figure out what it is.

    I am posting the code from my event viewer here,

  • I also had HDD issue with a brand new SATA cable, I changed it and now everything was fine.

  • You have an issue with your HDD.

    Run chkdsk C: /r /f to fix HDD issue.

    I ran chkdsk as you said and i got the message

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk C: /r /f
    The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.
    
    Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
    process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
    checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    But i chose yes and chkdsk and it found no errors.

    But i still keep getting the error in the event viewer.

    So, kindly help.

    I ran the diagnostic tool provided by the manufacturer.

    And it found no errors.

    So help me.
