  • Hi

If you are using OpsMgr 2007 R2 then the easiest way to do this is to find an alert in the console and right click the alert and choose the option - create new subscription. By default it will send a notification on a new alert and on resolution (server back up).

If you don't have any new alerts in the console, create an alert view that includes closed alerts to view them. Then create the subscription off that.

  • Hi Peer

If you have an alert in the console that you want a notification for then just right click the alert and choose the option - create new subscription. This works for all servers and not just the computer not reachable alerts.

  • Hi,

if you dont have an alert then in the subscription critiria choose the raise alert on a rule/monitor option then choose the not pingable monitor and thats it.
