I have seen multiple other posts with other people having the exact same problem with Windows 10 seeing their HDD as a Solid State Drive...when it is not. The Optimize buttons are "greyed" out.
Suggested fixes are not working to correct this issue.
This is not an issue with bad sectors on the HDD, it is obviously a Windows 10 issue, since defrag worked flawlessly with Windows 7 on the same computer and chkdsk finds no errors.
Is Microsoft Support aware of this issue preventing Optimize Drive to NOT work?
Is there a fix? I do not want to use a third party defrag app and want to use the Windows 10 Optimization app.
