Removable Storage Access Folder is missing in Group Policy under Administrative Templates\Systems

-
Hi.
I am planning to manage the access i.e. Read and Write on USB storage devices by using "Removable Storage Access" GPO.
However, while moving ahead to this configure this policy, I observed that the entire folder "Removable Storage Access" which shall be within "Administrative Templates\Systems" is missing.
It is very urgent for us to apply this policy. Request help to make this folder appear in the GPO so that it can be further configured.
Thanks,
Amit Jogi

Hi Amit
When I installed these 2 msi's, the install was successful, but I did not get to see where .admx or .adm got installed (what folder, where?).
Therefore I still cannot see RemovableStorage when I go to Add Templates.
Can you advise me?
Thanks, Glenn

Hi Glenn,
When you install the MSI, all the .admx files shall get extracted to c:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions and .adml files shall get extracted to c:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\en-US folder in the machine on which you run the MSI.
Browse the folders and search for .admx and .adml files that you need. In this case, RemovableStorage.admx and RemovableStorage.adml
Now, you need to copy both these files under SYSVOL folder of your domain controller at below paths:
- Copy RemovableStorage.admx in \sysvol\<YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME>\Policies\PolicyDefinitions
- Copy RemovableStorage.adml in \sysvol\<YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME>\Policies\PolicyDefinitions\en-us
Once you copy these files at above given folders respectively, you should see the related group policy setting in GPMC.
All the best and let me know whether you achieved the objective or not.
Thanks,
