  • Hello i have a question why do we need to install Sharepoint 2013 english langauge pack, and the sharepoint already made in english they couldn't import it by default langauge or there is sth special or updates in it ??

  • You do not need the English LP if you've installed SharePoint from English media. There are no additional changes with the English LP when using English SharePoint media.

  • HI Ayessh,It depends on the Package that you used to install Sharepoint.If you install the Media from the language English,NOt requirred to install language pack of English.If you want any other LP's like German,Chineese you need to install those in the farm.Please find the below link that where you can download LP's.

  • No need to download a language pack for the language you installed.

    Actually, When you go to download page of LP, you will see the following message in Details section as a note.

    "You do not need to download a language pack for the language you installed, these language packs are to support creation of additional languages."
