Add images in powerview report based on SSAS olap multidimensional model RRS feed

  • Is it possible to use images (like flags ) in powerview  report based on SSAS olap multidimensional model  ?

    Properties of field "Image" in my dimension dim_Account :

    Basic > Type > Image

    Source > DataType > Binary

  • I don't believe that images stored inside the cube are supported when using powerview and a multi-dimensional cube, I think the only option is to use imageUrl as the data type and store a http address to the image in your cube (which means you need to have a web server handy where you can put the images)

    I agree with Drren, it is impossible to use images (like flags ) in powerview  report based on SSAS olap multidimensional model.

    However, you can use other tools to achieve this. Following is an example you may want to reference:
