Pull the data from SAP database and display in wss 3.0 site RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to pull the data from SAP database and display it in a sharepoint site(WSS 3.0). Can we achieve this using SSIS packages or can we use ADO.NET programming. As we are not using MOSS we cannot use BDC.

  • You have a cuople options here.  You could use SharePoint Designer and connect to the database that the data is in, or, you could have some custom created timer job that reads the data from the DB and put it into a list.  The latter option is more development/code intensive.
