Automatic Disable of Proxy setting based on network connection. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Is there any way to he IE proxy settings apply via gpo when users are on the LAN and to be disabled when the laptop users are remote.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, as most of the laptop users need to manually change the proxy settings for getting connected to internet.

    Regards,

If you are allowing them to change settings manually, you may want to check out NetSwitcher.  That is frequently mentioned when this question comes up.  I have never used the tool nor know how automated it may be.  In fact, it is only the first such tool that I was aware of so for all I know there may be better ones available too.   ; )
