No audio on my laptop RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am having a Toshiba laptop portege M603. Every thing was working fine untill i did windows update. Recently i downloaded SP3 for Win XP professional and since than i am dying to have audio. Every time reboot my laptop i get an error message - "Device not found" even though my device manage does not show any unknown devices....

    I am having Realtek HD Audio drivers installed and when i try to uninstall it i get and error saying:

    Error Code: -5006 : 0x80030005

    Error Information:

    >Kernel\CABFile.cpp (758)

    >SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (1182)

    pAPP:Realtek High Definition Audio Driver
