I have the same error in Microsoft FlightSim X.
I searched Internet and found many users with same error but with different applications.. No one seems to know what to do to fix the problem. I even searched the Microsoft Knowledge base..NOTHING!!. But then again I'm not surprised. Imagine Microsoft putting an error in their software and then not telling you what caused it or how to fix it.
I spent 20 years as an engineer with HP and Digital Equipment Corp where I designed hardware and wrote thousands of lines of microcode and would never think of doing the things Microsoft does in the way of code writing.
Oh well.

Please tell me how you managed to get Outlook 2007 to send emails. I am using vista home edition.
I can receive OK but when I try to send it just sits there and eventually times out.

This is a similar problem I had when I tried to run the MS Office Word 2007. The MS Office Word logo just hang, then I doubled click and view the following detail description: (Other MS Office such as Excel, Access, Power Point...work fine). I felt very bad as I could not find a solution on MS website. I have a new laptop with Vista Home Premium and MS Office 2007 Enterprise.

This is usually caused by an AntiVirus software or by a firewall. Disable them and see if that works.

Another problem with Vista- When making calls using voip softwares like 12voip, voipdiscount, voipcheap etc. Stopped responding and was closed. Occurs immediately when clicking call button or in between 1 min and 1.30 mins.
How to sort out??

Hello everyone. I had the same error with my Outlook mailbox. I went into the toolbars menu and deactivated all but the standard tool bar and ran the detect and repair function in the help menu and this solved my problem.
Try it out. I have not yet tried running Outlook with the user account controls turned back on.

No one has suffered with this problem than i did...! I know how it feels, the Outlook just hang up and you just dont know what to do. My case ws even serious since the outlook refused even to open up...! I tried everything, including repairing the .pst but nothing worked. I stayed for 2weeks with out outlook, but i guess, every problem comes with a solution...! Now i got the big fat solution....!
It simple, some of the Anti virus, especially the 2010 versions seem to block the Outlook. They put it to be OFFLINE. I had instaled Kaspesky 2010. Once i istaled it, this is when the whole issue started. After all the hassle, an idea just came up in my mind and i went on the anti virus and disabled the Email Antivirus Scan and the Anti Spam functions. After i did this, the Outlook now works perfectly.
Just try and i hope it will solve the problem.
Wish you all the best.
