Blue screen crash dump RRS feed

  • Question

  • Please help :)

There have been a few problems with Windows since I bought my computer 4 months ago. I have tried to contact Windows but have not had a reply. I have never been able to create a back up disc as it gets stuck at 37% every time I try. And now every time I shut down my computer a blue screen crash dump comes up then restarts the computer so I am unable to shut down and therefore have to manually turn it off.

    The details come up as:

    Problem signature:

      Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

      OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3

      Locale ID: 2057

    Additional information about the problem:

      BCCode: d1

      BCP1: 0000000000000010

      BCP2: 0000000000000002

      BCP3: 0000000000000000

      BCP4: FFFFF8800146A5D6

      OS Version: 6_1_7600

      Service Pack: 0_0

      Product: 768_1

But when I select to search for a solution there is none.

  • Can you zip up the minidump files in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and make available (provide link) via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?

The following link has information on using Windows Live SkyDrive:

If you have problems zipping the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the Desktop

  • To understand this issue better could you send us the log from the following location.

If you open the Action Center on the taskbar > Maintenance > View reliability history > View all problem reports
Under "Review problem reports" can you right-click on a "Shut down unexpectedly" error > View solution
What is listed as the "solution".
