Attach Document to Email RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I attach a document to an email the document goes into the body of the text and not into the Attachments: line that would list all attachments.

  • Kent,

As Thomas mentioned, it's the expected behaviour if you're composing email in Rich Text format. This is just a display from Outlook. The recipient will see the attachment however way their email client handles attachments.

  • Hi,

if using Outlook and creating new mail with RTF format then an attachment will show up in mailbody. This is a normal "functionality".If the recipient is outside your Exchnge organisation then the mail will be modified to html format.

  • I want the document to show uo just beneath the "Subject" box in the header.  It would show "Attachments:  and a box would appear with the document tille exposed that was attached.

I am experiencing that the document can likely be stripped off the email or send the email to "junk mail" depending on how the customer or receipient has their filters set on their end.

    Does this help?
