  • If you have a Windows license installed by the manufacturer (OEM) it is only valid for the computer it was sold with. It is a violation of the license terms to install it on another computer.

  • Hi ,

OEM and retail product key can only be activated on one computer at a time. So, I am afraid that you cannot transfer it.

    Best regards

  • Hi,

the OEM preinstall license is NOT transferable from one machine to another one.

OEM Microsoft Windows licenses do not have any transfer rights and live and die on the original computer they are shipped with and installed on.
