"TF298009" error while Associate an Enterprise Project with Team project RRS feed

  • Question

  • TF294003: Cannot access the following PWA instance: http://spserver/PWA. Project Server returned this error:
"TF298009: You do not have sufficient permissions to map, unmap, or check the mapping of an enterprise project to a project in Team Foundation Server. You must be a member of the Project Managers group, or a site collection administrator in SharePoint Permission Mode, in order to perform this operation.". Verify that the PWA instance exists, and that the necessary permissions have been granted to the service account for the team project collection to access the PWA.

    1. TF294003: Cannot access the following PWA instance: http://spserver/PWA. -- TFs is accessing PWA succesfully

    2. TF298009: Added all the required permissions in SP, PWA and TFS.

Can Anyone help on this.. which step I missed.

    Thanks

  • I suspect two possibilities based on error. "Verify that the PWA instance exists, and that the necessary permissions have been granted to the service account for the team project collection to access the PWA."

1> The TFS service account hasn't been changed By default its "NT AuthoriyLocal Service". Check by going to Team Foundation Service Administration console. If its "NT AuthoriyLocal Service", change it to the service account you would like to use for configuration.

2> If you have correct service account, I suspect you haven't provided the TFS service account permission as required to support Project Server integration. Check article and follow each steps http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg412653.aspx#GrantTFSPermissions

Let me know how it goes.
