  • Windows 7 activation and Microsoft Office 2007 use different product keys and activation of one is not dependent on the other. It is not uncommon to have a trial version of Office installed which expires eventually. If this is not the case then locate your Office 2007 product key and activate as follows:

  • Hi barca,

I would like to tell you that there is no relationship on activation between Office and Windows. That's the two different products.

Since the Windows 7 and Office is preinstalled, it looks like that your are using the OEM version product. Please contact the manufacturer to get the product license due to OEM version is not managed by Microsoft.

Wish you have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Simon

Windows 7 has not been out for 9 years.

It was Released To Manufacturer (RTM) in August 2009.
