Clicking on a Webpage Hyperlink (icon) Adds the URL to the URL Bar (two URLs now) and "Page Cannot be Displayed" Appears RRS feed

  • Question

  • Windows 7 Pro and IE 11 using certain websites  (Ford's FMCDealer site)

Able to login to the main site:  FMC dealer . com  then when there on right side are hyperlink "buttons" and one is HVBOM (bill of materials) and the URL field dies not load the URL but APPENDS the existing URL so the previous page URL is there AND the HVBOM URL is added to the URL field.

Why is IE 11 conjoining both URLS ?

If I use Chrome it works (the hyperlink URL loads only )

  • Hey,

The possible reasons can be the connection problem, or the improper settings in your browser.

Here are the solutions you can try to fix "Page cannot be displayed" issue:

    1.Disable Protected Mode.

    2.Reset Internet Explorer Settings.

    3.Check Your firewall Settings.

4.Check your system's Time and Date settings.

    5.Check your IP address system.

Also if you want me to explain anyone of the above, feel free to ask and let me know ASAP.
