Where's my Voice Mail? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've set up a unified messaging lab based on the helpful posts by Brian Reid at http://blog.c7solutions.com/2012/07/building-exchange-unified-messaging-lab.html

All working well, Outlook Voice Access is amazing. Except for one small thing...

I've left several voice mails, and they have not shown up anywhere! I presume they are supposed to appear in the recipient's inbox, but they haven't. When I left the messages, the system sais they had been sent. The recipient is receiving ordinary email messages OK...

So where are the voice mail messages? Have they popped off into another dimension? How do I track them down?

  • Tim,

What version of Exchange is this?

Exchange 2007/2010/2013 stores the WAV files in a temp folder before moving them to

    Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\E14\UnifiedMessaging\voicemail

The temp folder is located here also

    \Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\E14\UnifiedMessaging\temp

Can you see the messages stuck here at all? Note there's also a badvoicemail folder too.
