KB2509470 - Outlook 2007 patch that causes some issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • We recently found out that KB2509470 causes some problems with printing within Outlook 2007, we deploy patches via SCCM 2007 and this has already been deployed to thousands of client computers in our environment.      How does one remove this from being deployed and will it get removed from the client base?     We are being told that a new release of the same software will be released in the future, can we see this within our SCCM environment?

Any feedback on how to handle the best way would be appreciated

  • To remove the patch from the deployments, you remove it from all the deployment managements you have. It will not uninstall the patch from the computers that has the patch installed. For that, you will need to create a software package. To remove a patch check this post http://blog.coretech.dk/kea/how-to-remove-software-updates-from-a-deployment/
