Share Point 2013, SQL Server 2012 restore RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I have a customer with SharePoint 2013 Server and a SQL 2012 Server, the SharePoint Server crashed, only leaving the SQL server.

Is there a Microsoft Tool, Product, 3rd party application that can read the SQL server, and read the .MDF file to get the documents in it without a SharePoint Server?

If this is in the wrong forum, please move

    Thanks, Bruce

  • Hi

If you want read .mdf file, then attach MDF file using SQL Server's Management Studio or CREATE DATABASE FOR ATTACH statement and connect to database, query the tables.

As well, you can learn from  How to Restore MDF file in SQL Server and try this tool for repairing MDF file.

    Hopes, it helps you
