Hide phone number in Lync RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello.

Please advice to which part of Lync API I should look to implement the following feature:

we need to prevent call center operators to know which phone numbers they are calling, or who's calling to them. Our application would pass the phone number to Lync, and operators shouldn't have ability to see it. I could probably use Lync in UI suppression mode, but operators need to have ability to communicate with each other using Lync client, thus it is not an option...

  • Hm, I don't know if it is possible in the api. You can use a gateway between Lync and PSTN to hide the numbers or configure also a route with suppress caler id.
