  • I thank my laptop came with lightscribe installed from hp but i have reinstalled windows 7 but not from factory software. how can i tell if my DVD drive is a lightscribe DVD.

  • Find the make and model of your optical drive, go to the manufacturer's website, and check the posted specifications for your drive.

    You should also be able to find the information for your make and model laptop on the HP support website.

  • LightScribe software is available from the HP web site. Just enter your HP PC model number to locate the download.
